The other highlight of Copenhagen…Tivoli Gardens.

The views from outside Tivoli’s walls make it appear as just your ordinary amusement park, a tourist trap with sky-high prices. With perfectly manicured grounds and charming restaurants, this “amusement park” is anything but ordinary. It feels like something out of a fairytale.

You can buy tickets that include just entrance to the grounds or entrance plus unlimited rides. If you choose to buy the Copenhagen card, this will work to get you onto the grounds, however you will be asked to purchase rides separately.

Cameron and I enjoyed wandering the property and even played a carnival game. This game consisted of rolling small ski balls into holes worth 1-3 points, which would in turn, push your horse across the “field”. Cameron won and took home some silly bands and a model airplane!
